Connect360 - Application supporting asthma patients

My role in the project was UX Designer (generalist).

CHALLANGE:
Design web application for the patiens who needs support in their asthma management, and for the nurses who care for these patients.
The application should contain the possibility to schedule a video call, watch video on how to inject the medication and knowledge base.

This assigment was very short and I would lie saying it was a perfect UX process. Obviously, I put user in the center, but I could not put the design process it in any UX framework. The closest thing I would comapare it to was the design sprint. 

Once we had a huge brainstorm session with the team (technical analist, business analist and myself), I suggested to meet the users, or the users representative at least. The contact person was a representative of a group of the patiens and the nurses, as we didn't have opportunity to meet the users directly.
Our point of contact gave us a lot of insights. Based on that, and on the business requirements document I started to draw the ideas in Adobe XD. 

In the next steps we met stakeholders for the project and discussed in details the ideas, functionalities and user flows, and eventually agreed on the final content of the application. I reflected it on the wireframes.

The next step was to design the high fidelity mockups. The requirement was that the system has to be consistent with the other products of the client, so I relied on the design system. I used Adobe Photoshop to create a perfect pixel designs.

Based on the visual design, the developement team implemented the MVP and we moved it to the testing part. If I had a possibility, I would definatelly spent more time on the testing with the users and analizing the feedback.

However, the project was driven by different business decisions.
I was supporting the developement team until the product went live.
